Science behind 2-second stretching Injury prevention for sports, health and wellness.

During the 70's, as a junior track and field athlete, I discovered Active Isolated Stretching methods. After developing an injury, I discovered that old school static stretching, (stretching held over two seconds,) was not the most effective means for preventing muscle injuries. I learned that stretching should be isolated and specific to each muscle and should only be held for 2 seconds at a time.

 

Active Isolated Stretching is designed for the human body, not just for athletes. This method is the most powerful method simplified in my Quantum Performance e-book. Injuries or lack of vertical occur when we have not warmed up the tissues. Muscle tissues need oxygen rich blood and when not available injury or muscle imbalance occurs. Muscles not able to move through full range of motion result in an injury.
